PREPARE Network

 The Ecodesign Centre (EDC) were recently invited to join PREPARE, the leading European Network in Sustainable Consumption and Production (http://prepare.dk/). Attending the Barcelona meetings and events in October gave EDC an excellent opportunity to showcase the work being carried out in Wales in ecodesign, from policy through to practice.

Along with scoping out collaborative projects with PREPARE members, attending the network enabled EDC to gain expert insight on latest international best practice on emerging topics such as chemical leasing and material chains.

The network is keen to welcome new members with ideas for projects, collaborations, knowledge transfer etc. EDC’s initial experience has been really positive and we would encourage other organisations to consider engaging with the network. Collaboration is key to moving these agendas forward and the network offers a suitable platform for this to happen.
