Green Public Procurement Consultation

The EU commission has launched a consultation on green public procurement (GPP) criteria for ten new product groups including mobile phones, wall panels, hard floor coverings and windows.

The European Commission ran a first round of consultations last year. It is seeking further comments before finalising the criteria and submitting them to member states for formal endorsement. The criteria are based on EU and national ecolabel requirements.
