Innovation Conference - The future of Sustainable Products and Services

28th – 29th September   Essen, Germany

In September 2009 the UNEP/Wuppertal Institute Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) in cooperation with Effizienz-Agentur NRW (amongst others) organised an international conference called “The Future of Sustainable Products and Services”, supported by the Ministry of the Environment and Conservation, Agriculture and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia. 

Dr Sohail Hajatdoost attended on behalf of the Ecodesign Centre (EDC) to share our experiences on the development of sustainable products and services in Wales, and to scope out opportunities for collaboration. The event was very well organised and attended, with around 200 representatives from the public, private and community sector.
